Ellen Chadwick is a prize-winning artist whose works include oils, acrylics, pastels and mixed media. She lives and works in the New York City metro area.

She has shown her work at the Edward Hopper House, The National Academy of Design, the Sonia Gechtoff Gallery, the National Arts Club, the Cork Gallery at Lincoln Center, the Phyllis Harriman Gallery, Hoboken City Hall and a Post-911 art show that traveled throughout New Jersey.

She has a B.A. in Art History as well as a Certificate in Painting from the National Academy School of Art. She also studied drawing and painting in New York City with many master artists at the National Academy of Design, the Pastel Society of America, and the Art Students League, like Ron Sherr, James Childs, Terence Coyle, Suzanne Young, Wolf Kahn, Philip Pearlstein (monitor), Elizabeth Demaray and most especially her longtime mentor Dan Gheno. In recent years, she has also been exploring Assemblage and Conceptual Art to broaden her work with elements from different aspects of contemporary art.
